BE Strong House Rules
BE Committed. Treat a workout like a doctor’s appointment. Have some courtesy and sign up for classes if you plan on coming in.
BE Early. If you’re not early, you’re late. Give yourself enough time to sign in, change, and warm up before class starts. We have a lot to accomplish, be mindful of the clock. Be on time.
BE Egoless. No one cares about your ego less that the barbell. Leave your ego outside of the gym.
BE Clean. Clean whatever equipment you use. Pick up your used tape, pens, notebooks, scrap papers, band-aids, water bottles and sweaty clothes. Put away all the equipment you used back where it belongs. Stack the boxes neatly, put the bars in the racks, stack the plates in order, hang up your jump ropes. Please clean up chalk from any equipment that you used it on.
BE Respectful. Dropping weight should be a last resort. NEVER ever, ever, ever, ever drop an empty barbell. NEVER drop a kettlebell or a dumbbell. We want to preserve what we have and buy new equipment, not replace broken equipment.
BE a Hard Worker. Work hard. And then work even harder! Hard work wins every time.
BE Kind. BE Strong Performance strives to build a friendly community. If you see a new face, say “hi” and introduce yourself. It makes for a positive environment. Who knows, that new face may be your next best friend.
BE Responsible. Take pride in your gym. Don’t let others get away with things that are unsafe or destructive to the gym. If you notice that equipment is broken, lights are out, or there’s no toilet paper … let us know so we can take care of it. Please and thank you.
